I Helped Expose FTX.
Now I Tell Your Story.

I’m Nick Baker. I help companies in financial markets, trading, fintech, crypto, and DeFi tell clear stories that resonate with the media, customers, and investors.

Thinking like a reporter and editor comes naturally. I worked as one for a quarter century, at the highest levels of journalism. At Byline Strategies, the PR firm I founded, I channel those instincts into every engagement.

Get newsroom-grade help from a Loeb Award winner, Bloomberg veteran with deep markets expertise, former CoinDesk deputy editor-in-chief, and trusted guest on the BBC, CNBC, and NPR’s Planet Money.

Services

Communications Strategy

I’ll pressure-test your messaging the way a skeptical reporter would, then build a narrative sharp enough to align your whole team.

Media Relations

I spent decades in newsrooms. I know what makes a pitch get picked up and what gets it killed.

Ghostwriting

I write op-eds, thought leadership, and posts for LinkedIn and beyond with a journalist’s eye for what audiences actually read.

Media Training

I spent 25 years asking hard questions. Now I’ll prepare your leaders to handle them, from hostile interviews to high-stakes panels.
